英语演讲初赛

“一人之辩，重于九鼎之宝；三寸之舌，强于百万雄师”。我校中小学的演说家们，进行了为期一周的英语演讲比赛初赛，英语演讲能够在短时间之内提高孩子英语各方面的素养，孩子的语言组织能力、逻辑推理和归纳总结的能力也会得到提升。

“The argument of one person is more important than the treasure of Jiuding; the tongue of three inches is stronger than a million masters.” Orators from our primary and secondary schools held a one-week preliminary English-speech competition. English speaking can improve student’s English literacy in a short period of time, and other abilities such as language organization, logical reasoning and summarizing skills will be improved as well.

老师在日常的课程中，系统性地培养学生的演讲技巧；学校也提供锻炼的平台，这不仅有助于增强表达能力，探求新知、探索未知，也让学生在不断的尝试中认识自我，突破自我、改变自我。

The teacher systematically develops students’ speech skills in the daily curriculum; The school also provides a platform for exercise, which not only helps to enhance the ability of expression, new knowledge and explore the unknown, but also enables students to know themselves, break through themselves and change themselves in continuous attempts.

我们以英语演讲为媒介，帮助学生建立起扎实的学术素养基础。英语演讲的训练和准备过程，正是挖掘个性、彰显魅力的一个过程。通过演讲，可以扩展知识储备与胸怀视野，训练敏锐的思维与判断；撰写讲稿，可以提升有条理地组织、准确地表达观点的能力；站上讲台，可以帮助个人克服恐惧、增强自信，在公众场合更加得体。

We use English speech as a medium to help students build a solid academic foundation. The training and preparation process of English speaking is a process of digging out individuality and showing charm. Through speeches, you can expand your knowledge reserve and vision, and train keen thinking and judgment; writing a speech can improve your ability to organize and express your ideas accurately; standing on the stage can help individuals overcome fear and enhance self-confidence, to be more decent in public.
