德育副校长张玉莉与教师们一起回顾和总结了9月和10月有关学生中心的工作，9月以5C5R中的尊重为主题，学校从制定班级公约、学院制度、每月之星评选等方式来培养学生规则，并且组织形式多样的传统文化活动，让学生深刻理解“尊重”的意义；10月以责任为主题，再次明确学生和教师的主要责任，并且举行小学大队委选举、中学学生会选举建立学生自主管理机制。

Zhang Yuli, Vice Principal of Moral Education, reviewed and summarized Students Center-related works in September and October along with other teachers. In September, practices like formulating class conventions and academy institutions, and selecting monthly model stars were widely conducted with the theme of Respectful from 5C5R, to train students’ sense of rules. In addition, traditional cultural activities in various forms were organized to enable students to deeply understand the meaning of “Respectful“. In October, the major responsible of students and teachers were again emphasized with Responsible as the topic, Young Pioneers at the primary school and Student Council at the secondary school were selected to establish a system of student autonomy management.

张校长指出，教师应以育人为目的，关注学生的健康、思想、心理、言行、知识等方面，同时勉励教师进行学习方式革新，提升教育水平，树立教育远大理想，全体教师要不断加强自我修养，时刻把师德放在心上。

Vice Principal Zhang pointed out that teachers’ goal is to cultivate talents by focusing on students’ health, thoughts, psychology, behaviors, and knowledge, and encourage other teachers to innovate learning methods, boost education capacity, and establish lofty ideals of education. It is imperative for every teacher to constantly strengthen self-cultivation and keep teachers’ ethics in their minds.

教学教研 Teaching and Research

学术副校长陈颖带领教学团队全面落实“双减”政策、课后服务，积极响应国家的政策，并在教学方面不断提升、改进教学质量，追求卓越。外籍学术副校长Ms. C指出，在全体师生的共同努力下，教学质量保持稳步提升。学校为每位教师提高学习和展示的平台，定期组织教研培训、特级教师学科工作坊、教学评比等，将教师个人发展与学校发展紧密联系，形成合力共赢之势。

Chen Ying, Vice Principal of Teaching, led the teaching team to fully implement the “double reduction” policy and after-school services as an active response to the national policy, and constantly improve the quality of teaching in the pursuit of excellence. Ms. C, Vice Principal of Western Curriculum, said that the quality of teaching has been posting stable growth with the joint efforts of all the teachers and students. Our school has also provided platforms for all teachers where they can learn and display themselves. The teaching and research training, special teacher discipline workshops, and teaching evaluation were organized regularly, aiming to establish a close connection between the teachers’ advancement with the development of the school, thus delivering a win-win outcome.

校长寄语 Messages from Principal

程敏校长总结发言，每一位学生都是值得敬畏的生命，牵系着一个家庭的幸福与未来，作为教师对待每个孩子都要发自内心的爱，用美德开启心灵，用爱心铸就未来。希望全体教师在面临新的机遇、新的挑战时，大家以求真务实的精神，增强发展意识，凝聚团队向心力再创佳绩。

Executive Principal Cheng Min delivered a concluding speech. She said that all students are worthy of being respected, because they are closely related to the happiness and future of a family. As teachers, we should care for all of them with love from our inner hearts and open their hearts with virtues to create a better future with love. I hope that each teacher, in the face of new opportunities and challenges, will enhance our awareness of development and gather our strength to achieve good results in a pragmatic spirit.

成绩属于过去，未来尚待书写。不驰于空想，不骛于虚声，教师们一步一个脚印，踏踏实实创造新的辉煌。

The glorious past is a prologue to the magnificent future. Therefore, we have to avoid the distractions of unsubstantial ideas and superficial fame, take one step at a time, and approach our new brilliant future on a firm footing.
